Odisha’s Vaikunth Raul and Maharashtra’s Sachin Chaugule have founded their company eWarranty Solutions Private Ltd with mainly three objectives— to save trees, reduce 50 percent cost of manufacturers in warranty process and generate employment.
The techie duo has said they have come a long way to launch their company and faced tremendous hardships to reach at this level. Raul says both of their families have had a poor financial background and because of this reason they were determined to create employment for the rural youth.
They say that the firm would be launched in November 2020 with a focused objective of catering to the MSME sector’s manufacturers who build products like LED TVs, Microwave Ovens, AC, coolers, fans, bags, watches, kitchen appliances, water coolers, stabilizers, UPS, inverter, battery inverter among loads of other appliances.
Vaikunth commands 23 years of experience in IT and and Sachin is having 12 years of work ex and they met in Malaysia.
Unemployment in India
Sachin told Chalgenius that they felt that India is facing a raging issue like unemployment and they decided to start something of their own which would address the unemployment issue.
He says that lakhs of students pass out of universities every year in India but a massive number of students could not land a job because of unemployment.
Digital warranty in India
Ewarranty’s aims to replace paper base warranty to 100% digital including the operation manual. It would save millions trees, save manufacturer cost by 50% and above in warranty process.
For ease of the consumer, the firm offer services to manufacturers like no need to maintain bills, invoice and other paper documents. Since, the company deals with the manufacturers and assured them of saving money, their end customers get benefited to save money for extended warranties.
He explains that a manufacturer can save 50 per cent of its cost on printing cost, booklets, invoices, product documents and print outs if he opts eWarranty’s digital services.
Aim to create 1 lakh job in 5 years
Even though, the firm is in its nascent stage, Vaikunth believes that he would be able to create employment to 40 people in the first year of the launch of the company and in the next five years he plans to create 1 lakh direct and indirect jobs across the country especially in the rural areas. He would be hiring people to handle the firm’s digital helpdesk, technical support and technical solution R&D. The duo also plans to have franchise of helpdesk across the country at district and tehsil levels.

He says video and audio clips on warranty and warranty terms would be available from each manufacturer authorized person on each product.
The company’s focus in the initial phase in west and north zone would be major industrial part of Maharashtra, Gujarat & NCR Delhi and in east and south zone it would be Hyderabad, Chennai and Hubli.
