It is not an easy decision to choose the right career. In fact, people often make mistakes while taking this big decision and end up ruining their lives.

Some among them often get caught in the web of those who give them wrong suggestions that prove to be a failure.

Thankfully, three women entrepreneurs from Kolkata are working hard in guiding people in making right decisions about their careers.

Meet Disha Jain, Kakoli Das Mandal and Amaleena Bose Banerjee Who conducted detailed psychometric tests to discover which profession suits you the best.

“Career counselling is the most important and challenging part of life.We offer complete career coaching to people. What distinguishes us from others is ourexhaustive and multi-level analysis of an individual before , suggesting a suitable career as it can make or break his/her life,” says Kakoli with a smile on her face.

46 areas of an individual examined
The “Career Enhancement program”, as they call it, assesses 46 areas of a person before arriving at the suitable career, “We perform combination of tests assessing 46 core areas of a person like emotional acumen, goal setting, overall personality, verbal attitude and interest among others, before arriving at any conclusion,” said Amaleena.
The trio formed their company Peace Live Laugh Private Limited in Oct 2019. “We not only guide individuals in career selection but also guide students about the schools, colleges and educational streams that would be best for them.

Over 2000 people shown the right way
Call it their apt skill in their work and the word-of-mouth popularity, Peace Live Laugh has handled over 2000 clients since inception- “People commit  biggest mistakes by first completing their education and then thinking about their careers…the reverse is required.“We offer Career Enhancement Program to children right from the age of 13 and believe that no age is late for building a successful career.Our focus is in matching the right person for the right career!” said Disha.

About the founders

Disha Jain is an Internationally Certified Level 2 Career Coach and a Calcutta University Alumni (English Department). She specializes in Psychometric Testing and Relaxation Therapy. Furthermore, she has worked as a former Assistant Teacher at NaboPrayas – an establishment that tends to the uniquely abled. She is well versed with the young generation mindset and has worked with over 2000 individuals in builing their careers.

Kakoli Das Mandal has over 19 years’ experience in life coaching, corporate training, motivational speaking, among others. She is a Certified Life Coach and a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Amaleena Bose Banerjee has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s in Applied Psychology from Calcutta University, specializing in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Recently, she has completed her Doctorate in Psychology and inawaiting her degree. She has worked as a Senior Project and Research Associate in a behavioural consultancy firm.
