This Youth from Mumbai is on a mission to save environment through Green homes

Mumbai-based Ankit Doshi started his own company in the telecom sector at the age of 26. Now, his passion for greenery has led him to create a innovative concept of ‘Green Home’ which means creating greenery wherever you live. Let us go through the article to appreciate his passion….

Thirty-four year old Doshi is an engineer by profession with a B.E degree from Mumbai University (Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan’s College of Engineering). He has been successfully running his venture – KC Enterprises – in the telecom sector. Along with this, he is also involved in his family business in the garment industry.

Passion drives towards a different field

“Always deliver more than expected” is the motto of Doshi’s life. His passion for the environment brought in him an urge to preserve the greenery. Along with his commitment towards the venture, he is working hard to nurture his passion.

Origin of ‘Green Home’

Doshi love for nature grew in him an interest for hydroponics following which he studied a lot and did some research on pursuing the field. However, during the lockdown he was putting up at his farm house in the countryside of Deolali near Nasik. The greenery and fresh air attracted him so much that he decided to come up with his own garden. Thus, he started his own ‘Green Home’. He cleared the small plot of land in front of his house and planted a host of trees and very soon it blossomed into a beautiful attractive flowering garden.

It is a type of horticulture and a subset of hydroculture, which is a method of growing plants, usually crops, without soil, by using mineral nutrient solutions in an aqueous solvent. Hydroponics offers many advantages, one of them being a decrease in water usage for agriculture.

Promoting ‘Green Home’

To start with, Doshi is encouraging his friends and relations to bring greenery in their surroundings. “Sometimes it may not be possible to have a garden but one should always have some indoor plants. Having plants in our houses not only provides us fresh air and maintains oxygen level but helps in cheering us up. I am distributing saplings to friends and people whom I know so that they can begin having their own ‘Green Home’,” Doshi told Chalgenuis.

Passion and business

Doshi nurtures his passion as well as manages his own company and his family business. Along with demonstrating his sharp business acumen, he is also an investor and funding partner with several Garment Production Houses. His selection of high quality fabrics from various parts of Europe and threads from Germany has contributed to the exemplary wardrobe of formals desired by individuals of fine taste and classic as well as contemporary style.

Mantra for success

His mantra focuses on “to, for and by the customers” which makes him stand out in the genre of custom tailoring. Doshi firmly believes that the goal of an organization is to have immaculate customer service which enhances the customer’s shopping experience. “One should do what one does so well that the customers will desire for it repeatedly and strongly recommend the brand. Profit maximization is worth little without customer satisfaction and loyalty,” Doshi added.
