Treatment through natural essential oils
Samir Dugar an entrepreneur in Kolkata has found a ‘scented’ solution to the burning health issues of the present era. It claims to cure stress, diabetes and other life-style ailments by just smelling the natural essential oils or applying it on your body.

His products are already in high demand with major corporate honchos like Tata and Birla’s counted among its clients. Samir has also treated former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and former West Bengal governor Keshari Nath Tripathi.
How it began?
Samir Dugar formed his company Manipura Ayurveda in 2016 with an aim to create awareness about aromatherapy and natural essential oils among the people, “The natural essential oils is an age-old treatment with the history of over 5000 years. But somehow, we have forgotten them and have switched to allopathy and other form of medicines that has side effects,” said Samir to Chalgenius.
“I formed my company four years ago but did a research of over three years to find the importance of these oils to human body. I realized that the natural essential oils had the power to heal even serious ailments like blood pressure and diabetes which are common nowadays. It can also cure viral infections by just inhaling of the essential oils. The oils are especially helpful for children who often find it difficult to intake medicines.”
Natural oils against coronavirus
Manipur Ayurveda has come with sanitizer made from essential oil which can be used as disinfectants, “The sanitizers made from chemicals are harmful and have side effects but the sanitizers from natural oils do not have any bad impact on body. It can be used as hand sanitizers and also for disinfecting the localities. We have already supplied our products to Indian Railways and Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) and have received good response,” said Samir to Chalgenius.
Ingredients are extracted naturally
The company has bottling plant in Kolkata and extraction plants in various parts of the country. The ingredients for natural essential oils are extracted from flowers, barks, steams, roots and other natural items. The products include air freshener, handmade soap among other over 100 items.
