Cleanomatics keeps your clothes germs and virus free

Hygiene and social distancing are the major weapons in a fight against Covid 19. During such situation, Cleonamatics, an on-demand cleaning & laundry facility start-up based at Gurugram has come up with a laudable initiative of keeping the clothes germs and virus free by washing them with the use of a patented technology.
The start-up has four co-founders- Abhra Banerjee, Vishy Subramanian, Somnath Rautray and Raj Gambhir. The founders are in their 40s and come with a wide experience in corporate sector and entrepreneurship.

Livelihood to dhobis

Abhra Banerjee told Chalgenius that their patented technology helps to keep the clothes completely germs and virus free, “Our distinctive AI-based service solutions is equipped with contemporary machineries and German certified eco-friendly cleaning products for a guaranteed 100% protection against COVID-19 virus, germs, bacteria and dirt.”
The start-up has been offering livelihood to dhobis (washermen) in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) by integrating them into their system and making them deliverymen, “The dhobis have been fast fading and their jobs have mostly become restricted to ironing of clothes which has hindered their income. We have brought them into our system and their job is to collect clothes from the clients and handover them to our men for cleaning which is done completely through machines. They are paid commissions for their work,” he added

Array of services

Vishy Subrmanium said that apart from fully-fledged primary laundry & dry-cleaning services, they offer array of services including home cleaning, corporate cleaning, shoe repair/clean, carpet & sofa dry cleaning and other related services, “The unique facet of the organization lies in personalised care where we first understand the nature of the fabric or surface and then begin to deliver a promising cleaning for impeccable results and that too in a fast 48 hours turnaround time,” he added.
Launched in 2019, the start-up has over 25000 customers in Delhi and NCR.

Necessity is the mother of invention

Abhra has an interesting anecdote to share about the starting of Cleonmatics, “My elder son Apratim was leaving the comforts of his family and was going to pursue his career in Electronics Engineering. While the usual worry about his food was addressed by the good hostel canteen facility, we couldn’t find a reliable solution to his Laundry, Room Cleaning & Sanitising needs. It’s then when I conceived Cleanomatics- the on demand cleaning & laundry facility available to our Gen Z customers at the click of a mobile app button. Cleanomatics has the mission to emerge as the saviour for lacs of bright Gen Z youngsters and be their preferred Cleaning & Laundry Services Provider.”
Cleanomatics has been recently awarded the Promising MSME Award by the India Achievers Forum. The start-up aims to achieve 100 Mn US $ business paying homage to PM Modi’s vision of “Aatma-Nirbhar” Bharat & “Swachh Bharat.”
