Mission

Piyush Mathur is a college dropout and is on a mission of creating one lakh digital entrepreneurs. He believes in making people self employed.
Mathur says numerous people have either lost their jobs or are working with pay cuts because of the outbreak of the global pandemic Covid-19. With his personal brand, Digital Mathur launched in 2017, he conducts Digital Entrepreneurship programme to help people to become self-employed and have something of their own. This is also for people who want to create passive income.

Inspiration

Twenty-four- year-old Mathur highlights that he got inspiration from his father who was a government servant with Indian Railways but did not like his job. So he quit his job in the early 1990s and started a company dealing in Honda generators. It prompted Mathur to get inclined towards entrepreneurship.
He says that under peer-pressure he joined a BCA course in 2013 but he soon realised that it is putting his family under enormous financial stress. He then dropped out of college at the end of first year.

Obsession with start-ups

He says his obsession with start-ups and entrepreneurship has made him an inveterate learner and motivator. As an entrepreneur, he believes that being stagnant cease one’s overall growth. To become a better version of yourself, you need to learn something new every day even if it’s only a half-inch, he underlines.

“Digital Mathur is a personal brand. People may not believe that I started selling projects like computer and curriculum related ones from fifth standard to my fellow classmates as they use to find it difficult to make,” Mathur says.
He states that he did many professional courses like graphic designing, C++, networking and hardware courses to delve into business. But nothing worked out for him. Later, he did digital marketing course and then started a digital marketing agency.
He says he just want to do a hardcore business. He started one more company named educomshala through Digital Mathur. “I am digital marketing trainer who provides consultations to businesses to grow and also train people,” he says.
