Purpose of CoE
The Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) at STPI Gurugram has been set up to connect startup, provide support with collaboration, attract investors and ultimately strengthen the startups community for creating a pipeline of future jobs-creating businesses.
Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) has created multiple CoEs across the country for promoting entrepreneurial spirit amongst youth, researchers, engineers and society at large, which will contribute to economic and social development of the country.
Incubate over a 100 startups in 5 years
This Centre of Entrepreneurship is having an estimated budget of Rs 25 crore over a period of 5 years with support from Govt. of Haryana, MeitY, Govt. of India and STPI &other stakeholders. Apiary offers fully furnish built up space of 7,000sq.ft. of incubation space having 80 plug & play seats with state-of-art infrastructure.
Apiary plans to incubate 100+ startups over 5 years and provide them comprehensive support in the form of mentoring, industry connect, market access, networking & funding access, lab, access to STPI Gurugram High Speed Internet Access.
Dedicated to blockchain technology start-ups
This CoE is primarily be dedicated to Blockchain Technology enabled startups. Blockchain is a technology that improves any process where people need to access, verify, send or store information securely. This information could be a person’s identity, a product’s shipment history or a digital asset like money. Blockchain are also used to store information.
Aim to become a key player
This CoE vision is to be a key player in the startup eco-system by actively mentoring young people at various stages in their entrepreneurial journey and significantly impact survival rates positively. The mentors will help across validating the innovation, building product & services around it, reach-out to the market through a well-defined process and industry connect.

The key objectives of the CoE includes:

To identify & support potential cutting edge information technology entrepreneur especially in the field of Blockchain Technology and its Application with a viable business plan.

To provide technical assistance in the development of processes, technologies and product along with managed workspace.

To provide mentoring and marketing assistance.

To connect researchers and entrepreneurs to commercialize innovations.

To increase economic and social growth of the region as well as the country.
Selection Process
Comprehensive screening process in the form of Idea Challenge Program etc. will be conducted for selection of the best start-ups. This process will identify and select the innovative startups having potential to create innovative Blockchain based products and solutions. Apiary is inviting applications from startups working in Blockchain Technology.
The ICP 2.0 portal is open now to receive application from eligible start-ups. The last date for submission of completed application is 19thSep 2021.
