Please also tell us about your role in promoting entrepreneurship and especially start-ups?

I have created awareness among thousands of people about entrepreneurship in which we made most of the aspiring entrepreneurs reach the best e-cells of the country. I also made efforts to connect entrepreneurs in more than 28 major cities of India to national and global level. We have also tried to ensure that local start-ups get a chance to speak at big platforms like IIT and others.

What made you to reject an offer of a guest speaker in Pakistan and when were you invited?

Students in Pakistan also wanted to hear me when I was working on space development & stated that Milkyway Galaxy will collide with Andromeda Galaxy. In those days group of retired Pakistani bureaucrats wanted to invite me for an event. In the middle of planning & scheduling, Pulwama attack happened in which many Indian soldiers got martyred. It took me seconds to refuse the invitation.

Is Covid has been a boon or bane for the start-up sector?

I don’t think it as an opportunity for any sector. Anything like this is curse to human race. It proved that sometimes money is just an illusion & no matter how much you have, still you can’t buy a single pill for survival.

People became jobless because a void was formed in money flow of market due to pandemic. To fill that gap for the economy, we have only start-ups as an option.

What are the traps that the start-ups founders should avoid while launching their enterprise?

Start-ups shouldn’t risk their ideas by leaking it on any corrupt platform. Just stay calm & patient till you achieve your market.
