People forced to walk despite the lockdown
The deadly coronavirus has displaces thousands of people who were doing odd jobs for livelihood in various parts of the country.
Most severely impacted are the daily wage labourers who are left with no alternative but to return to their native places after left with no work and food for days. Scenes of people walking back to their houses for several kilometres from metropolitan cities are common despite the lockdown. They are hungry and tired but still muster the courage to reach to their destination. The respective governments are yet to offer any food and shelter to them.
