Amidst the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, Oxyfind, a start-up based at Guwahati in Assam has come with a technological innovation to reduce crowds at health care facilities to maintain social distancing.
Oxyfind gives real time for zero crowds
Oxyfind, a Guwahati based Start-up has joined the fight to control the spread of pandemic that has been claiming fresh lives every hour across the globe. Oxyfind, the tech-health start-up through its web-based application is enabling people to not only make their appointments with their doctors but also informing the real time to reach to the clinics and save them from standing in long queues and coming in contact with people.
Oxyfind is the need of an hour as the governments have already been advising people to stay away from crowded places and promote social distancing. It has already put a blanket ban on social gatherings.
How Oxyfind works?
Nabajyoti Das, one of the founders says that they use OXY QR (A personalized QR code for clinics/OPDs) through which patient can self register and request for appointment hence reducing queue in front of the registration desk. As soon as the appointment is accepted by the clinic the patient can track the appointment slot in real time from anywhere thus reducing crowded waiting rooms, “He will also be informed his slot number and the patient’s number which was being examined by the doctor at that particular time,” he says.
Oxyfind already understands its social obligation at the time of crisis and has been providing the service for absolutely free.
Launched in February 2019, Oxyfind is already working with 50 clinics and hospitals in Guwahati and Jorhat.
Apart from Nabajyoti, there are two other founders- Pankaj Mazumder and Bapan Biswas.
