Meet this coach from Delhi who is on a mission to make 13000 digital travelpreneurs by 2025

Coach G.Singh (Gurmukh Singh), a tourism business coach knows how to turn adversity into opportunity. The 32-years-old was churning out young people to join the travel Industry till last year. But the lockdown brought his mission to a halt. He didn’t give up. Want to know what he did next and went back to his mission? Spare a few minutes in reading the article.
Wanted to Train others
Coach G.Singh has experience of over a decade in travel trade having worked with reputed companies like Yatra.com and various international brands.
This Delhi-based entrepreneur could have settled for a well-paying job and lived a comfortable life like his colleagues. But he decided to do something else. He thought of imparting his skills to several other youths who want to become travelpreneurs but are misled by institutes that charge a whopping sum and don’t provide good training.
Moved by the lack of skill in students
“I was moved by seeing the plight of students who were shedding hefty amount for the courses but ended with getting no practical exposure. The whole exercise was simply a waste. It was reflected in their placements as they failed to get good salaries in tourism companies because of the lack of proper training coupled with no first-hand knowledge about the business,” he says.
“I realized that students cannot succeed unless they have practical field knowledge about travelpreneurship. I quit my job and decided to start a company to do travel business & train young students to help them become successful travelpreneurs.”

Started Famsia Tourism Academy in 2019
With this noble thought in mind, he started Famsia Tourism Academy in the last months of 2019, “We started a physical course where students were being trained about various tricks of travel trade from air ticketing, Visa & Packages. We not only gave them theoretical classes but also provided them with practical training where students were told to make bookings and look into other itineraries.” The coach says that the business took off very well and they went to various institutes to take classes and also gave consultancy.”
Covid dealt a big blow
The travel and hospitality sector took a major blow during the pandemic-induced lockdown since March last year. The restrictions made it virtually impossible for people to step outside their houses and go for recreation. The coach also suffered an impact in his travel & training business. But he didn’t give up hope. He says that the business has again started to boom as the situation has become to normalize with falling fresh cases of the second wave, “People are now rushing to holiday destinations to shed off the frustration of staying indoors for several months. We are seeing that how hill stations are now chock-a-bloc with tourists,” he added.
Switched his business to online mode
Sensing the revival of business, firstly he automated his travel business of 13trips.com to a membership base and he switched on to the online mode of training that could cover larger students in July, this year.
Moreover, now he is on a mission to empower 13000 travel people to become Digital Travelpreneurs by 2025 using the right Systems and Mindset, “We have kept an initial launch amount of Rs 5999 because we want students to spend rest of the money to travel on their own and understand the problems in the trip so that they can better serve the customers. The goal is not to make money but to give practical training to students/members who want to seriously take up the profession of travelpreneurs.”
“We also give assistance through chat support in a group &solve problems of students once in a week in a live session.” So click on the link and stepped in to start your part time or full time travel businesshttps://tinyurl.com/FAMCG1 Don’t forget to use code FAMSIA59 to get the offer price.

Covid best time for aspiring travelpreneurs
The coach says that the covid is the best time for the learners to brush their skills, “This is the best time for the budding travelpreneurs to hone their skills or they might have to settle for lesser business. It could take 3-6 months for fresher’s to get trained and covid has brought a golden opportunity for them. The market is opening and the situation would be normal within few months. They would have to settle for lesser if they don’t get proper training as the competition is tough.”
He claimed of offering a combo of practical and theoretical training that would not be possible for other institutes at such a minimum price, “The mission is not to make money but churn out as much as travelpreneurs as possible so that our country gets more entrepreneurs and more jobs.”
