The Calcutta High Court has barred visitors from entering the Puja pandals to stop the spread of the Covid. The verdict, no doubt to some extent has upset the pandal hoppers who were making grand plans of visiting pandals braving the pandemic

Two entrepreneurs launch live streaming app

The duo created the platform keeping in mind major highlights of Kolkata Durga puja that can be experienced on a single screen view along with spotlight moments such as ‘Astamirangali across pandals, vijayadashami and sindurkhela apart from other ceremonies.

Even pandal hoppers have expressed happiness over the services being provided by the young entrepreneurs, “We have to accept that this is the new normal. The covid has virtually chained our movement and robbed the fun and frolic during the Pujas. But nothing can be done. Fortunately, the digital services like this would help us to relish the excitement of the pujos.
