Shivam Pandey, a software developer has developed an Android application for providing medicines for people who are travelling either through trains or buses in Ranchi and its periphery, “A person needs to just fill up his details along with the medicines needed at our app. The medicines would be delivered at the nearest railway station or bus stand in Ranchi and its outskirts,” says Shivam.
Shivam founded his venture along with three friends – Suman, Mukesh and Shreya in January this year. The founders are in their early 20s.
But how an idea of delivering medicines in trains or buses came into their minds?
Shreya says that a close relative of hers had a miscarriage after failing to get the required medicines during pregnancy while she was travelling in a train, “It was then I realized that several people need medicines while travelling in trains or buses but often fail to procure.”
The budding entrepreneurs said, they are collaborating with local delivery boys at various points to deliver them at their nearest bus stand or railway station based on the location of the customer.

This start-up operates under Digital GuruG, a software company, founded by s Shivam himself.
They also want to extend their services to arranging ambulances and doctors while travelling.
