Forget Facebook, Bihar youth invents an app that numerically calculates your brand value

Do you know every single activity of your life creates your image value and it can be quantified to measure your net worth in the society? Sound strange isn’t it. Just read below to know more about it..

Image Valu quantifies your net worth

Meet Ritij Ranjan, a techie from a small village of Bihta in Bihar who has made a social media platform, Image Valu, that calculates the net value of a person with the help of mathematical algorithms, “Every person has a social value in the society but how we quantify it? I have developed a social media platform which will define the image value of a person based on the activity he does and he or she can also cash his credit score when he goes for a job or taking loan from the bank and any other activities,” said Ritij to Chalgenius.

How Image Valu works?

He says that his social networking platform, Image Valu formed under his company Inforalya Private Limited, calculates the brand value of the person in a numerical form by taking into consideration the social values of the people in his contacts and also other parameters, “The user is required to just operate the Image Valu as he does with other social media accounts of Facebook and Twitter while Image Valu continues to quantify his worth. The app would calculate every second of his image value. Any wrong comment, post or any negative posting will reduce the brand value of an individual,” Ranjan told Chalgenius.

Aims to make People’s Stock Exchange

His ultimate goal is to make the People’ Stock Exchange across the world so that the self worth of every individual is known to everybody, “Just like the way, stock market evaluates a brand’s value, this app helps in evaluating an individual’s net worth. The brand value of the person increases or decreases depending upon his work and the people he is associated with. For example, the net worth and brand value of an individual increases when he gets attaches to a celebrity.

What led to the idea?

Ritij, who graduated from Delhi University, says that he decided to develop the app after he was sacked from his job during the global recession from a private multinational company in Hyderabad in 2010, “I was outstanding employee of the company but I was put on a back-bench because the company was looking for degree holders despite the less educated doing much better job. I was sacked and it hurt me badly. I decided to create an app that would judge the actual worth of an individual beyond his qualification or degrees,” Ritij told Chalgenius.

Five years of single-minded dedication

Five years of single-handed effort, lakhs of codes, and firm determination eventually helped him in developing a product that was good enough to claim a patent. In the run up to earning a patent, Mukul’s app has been mentioned by a globally renowned magazine twice within 18 months to ensure that no one had any objection with the idea.
He is now looking for investors. The start-up has been incubated at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Innovation Lab (ABVIL) of Jharkhand government that has doing commendable job to promote start-ups.
