Every student should get the perfect opportunity to pursue his/her dream career. Turning this belief into the motto of his life, Mohit Vishal from Chennai has set up Awiskar Lab – a platform to directly connect students to their respective industries through various hands-on programs.
“We help students to pursue their dream career by providing them necessary guidance and conducting programs for enhancing their skills,” said Mohit who started his startup in April 2018 with only a handful of students. Currently there are 2100 students enrolled at his venture.
Despite possessing good academic results, students face a lot of difficulties due to lack of requisite industry skills so Mohit established his start-up to bridge this gap between academic knowledge and the requirements of the industry. It makes students ‘industry-ready’.
Incorporated as Awiskar Research and Development Private Limited, the start-up conducts training and seminars in school, colleges and companies on various topics like career development, entrepreneurship, leadership, technical skills, life skills and others. Regular courses are held for a time period of one to six months.
Awiskar Lab arranges internships for students as well. Sometimes students find it difficult to get a scope for internship.
To help students score well in academics, Awiskar Lab develops guides and trains them on their projects such that they get a practical knowledge on the working and technical details of the project.
The company has its office in Chennai and registered office at Muzaffarpur in Bihar.
Why Awiskar Lab?
It’s a platform to prepare students based on the needs and requirements of the industry along with helping them to score well in academics.
