Anudip is shaping careers in Covid times
It is creating an alternative livelihood for the income-less population in the pandemic using financial assistance, new skills training and market linkages. “The pandemic has wreaked havoc in the lives of several youngsters. Many dropped out of college and looked for work to support a dwindling family income. Some of the youths enrolled at the foundation’s course and got jobs within a few months,” said Nilanjana.
How is it special?
The high success rate of placements makes it special. Usually, campus placements are held wherein companies visit the centre and select candidates. This apart, candidates are also sent to respective companies for recruitment. “We assist candidates in cracking the interviews. If after joining a company, the candidate is dissatisfied and wants to switch over then he/she is helped to do so. In fact, one gets two more chances to get settled in the job he/she desires,” said Nilanjana adding that 90 percent of the candidates are successfully placed.
