AIM in Odisha Conclaves offering a winning platform for start-ups to learn,innovate and succeed

About the conclave

The conclave will be held in Sambalpur (25 February), Balasore (11 March) and Cuttack (25 March). The first chapter kicked off on February 11 at Diamond Jubilee Townhall in Berhampur. It witnessed a congregation of government bodies, academia, industry and start-ups.


Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) under Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation, Bhubaneswar is organizing the event. AIC-Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation is a Technology Business Incubator supported by Atal Innovation Mission, a flagship initiative set up by the NITI Aayog, Government of India to promote innovation and entrepreneurship across the nation. AIC-NITF partners with for “AIM in Odisha Initiative”

Details of the event

“There will be three panel discussions. The panel discussion with government bodies will be attended by government officials and discussions would be held on policies that can be drawn up for enhancing the eco system. The second panel discussion with industrialists will have participants from Odisha Corporate Foundation and regional industries association wherein discussions would be held on the requirements for the facilitation of start-ups. Industries would come up with sectors where facilitation can be done.” Durga Prasad Gouda, incubator manager told Chalgenius
“The third panel discussion of the academic sector will discuss on the innovations that are being done and the training that is provided to students. The techniques undertaken by engineering colleges and polytechnics to groom students would also be discussed. Finally, there would be an open house session to delve into the challenges, needs and facilities that are required by the start-ups.”

The benefit

The conclave will act as a common platform for the start-ups. They will get scope for networking and an opportunity for facilitation and support. “Many industrialists need innovative solutions in some sector or the other but do not know where to receive them. At the conclave they will get a chance to the start-ups and their work so that they can get scope of working together,” said Gouda
