Branded stores for plants
Supratim Roychoudhury, a young entrepreneur from Silchar in Assam is coming up with a unique concept that has not been heard so far in India. Supratim is launching branded plants stores in the country, “We have branded stores for almost all the items but there are no brand stores for plants. We would open branded stores exclusively dedicated to plants where different varieties would be available for sale in ceramic pots,” said Supratim to Chalgenius.
The 33-year-old entrepreneur said that the branded plant stores have huge market potential because of the rising level of pollution, “We feel that branded stores of plants have huge market because pollution level is rising with each passing day. Plants can be used for households and also for gift items,” told Supratim to Chalgenius,
Stores in three cities soon
Supratim is going to start three stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Silchar, “We will have plants of all kinds with prices ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 50,000. We plan to open 500 stores in the next five years. The aim is to cater to each and every section of the society and also to create awareness on environment. We were planning to open in April but it would get delayed due to coronavirus outbreak.
